Associate Facilities Program Coordinator - SUCF Site Representative

Provide oversight of construction on the SUNY Cobleskill campus, including on-site construction management, design administration (not performing professional design services), and procurement; Define the critical maintenance and capital needs of the college and works with the campus community to effectively manage campus capital projects from inception to completion; Observe progress and quality of work; monitor construction; review contract documents; maintain records; assist architect in reviewing shop drawings, applications for payment, and final inspection of work; Report to the Capital Program Manager. Work closely with the Engineering Services Manager and Facilities Operations Manager in all phases of projects to ensure the delivery of projects that include their full input, are maintainable, and conform to SUNY Cobleskill's standards. Works with a variety of NYS Government entities, including the State University Construction Fund; Assure all projects are completed on schedule and within budget; Provide on-site representation for campus on various construction projects as assigned; oversee contractor compliance with contract drawings and specifications, monitor contractor progress, handle contractor questions; facilitate planning and design processes; work with faculty, staff, and design professionals in development of projects; Develop a project delivery approach, making determinations on contracting and in-house services, develops estimates and creates project schedules in Microsoft Project or similar software; Monitor construction schedules, reviews design and construction documents, keeps construction documents current during projects, attends job and coordination meetings, observes tests performed on the job site, maintains office records and files according to an established standard, prepares daily reports, reviews submittals / shops, reviews payment applications, assists with inspection reports, and tracks / coordinates issues during the construction warranty periods; Have proficiency in computer applications with the ability to use facility management programs, project management and spreadsheet software, calendar tools and other related software; Be knowledgeable of construction methods and technologies with a thorough understanding of project specifications, plan drawings and other construction documents; Have a working knowledge of New York State Building Codes and other code standards. Technical knowledge of architectural, mechanical and electrical building systems. Must achieve and maintain a NYS Code Enforcement Official Certification as a condition for continuing employment; Be expected to be on site daily and have knowledge of job site safety.

Salary Range:
From $70000 to $80000 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Associate Degree in Construction Management, Business, or another related field. Three or more years of relevant experience in construction project management Fundamental understanding of construction practices and construction management practices and procedures. Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Development and preparation of data relevant to project completion Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team Excellent judgement Previous project coordination experience Experience working in a college or university setting Familiarity with online meeting, teaching and learning formatsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
